“Moore” Shoes

“Moore Shoes”
These platform high heel shoes are directly inspired by the work of post-modern architect Charles Moore.
The arch motif and ribbon pattern is the result of extensive research into the life’s work of Moore.

Designs for the ribbons based on “Charles Moore House” interior wood decorations. Final design was made in Adobe Illustrator.
This maquette was made with clay and then cast in plaster.
Pine wood soles/heels. For comfort the curve of the arch is made of leather instead of wood.
